NEW TREES ARE PLANTED IN BANCROFT GARDENS
The first batch of new trees to replace those that have been removed from Stratford-upon-Avon’s famous Bancroft Gardens are being planted this week.
Thirteen semi-mature lime trees are being placed in the area north of the canal basin – alongside the Gower Memorial – as part of the landscape transformation of the site. Several hundred shrubs, climbers, herbaceous perennials and grasses are also being planted to give the location a fresh look. Click here to read more |
