| WCS Strategy Group |
Role:
- lead the World Class Stratford initiative;
- define the strategy for the Project;
- guide and monitor the performance and delivery of projects.
- approve the governance arrangements for the Working Group
- support bids for funding the project development;
- guide arrangements for the procurement of the projects;
- approve the PR/communications and stakeholder management strategy;
- manage consultation with contributions from other local or regional stakeholders not party to the Strategy Group and agree the timing and terms of reference for such events;
- approve change proposals (which affect scope, output or objectives of the scheme);
- be the nominated panel for arbitrating and resolving deadlock or disputes within the Working Group.

| WCS Community Forum |
Role:
- To provide a clear communication route between the Strategy Group and the local community and stakeholders who will be affected by the changes proposed in order to transform Stratford upon Avon to World Class.
- To be a ‘sounding board’ for new ideas and provide constructive challenge as ideas are proposed, amended and subsequently implemented.
- To agree and support programmes of appropriate public consultation to ensure that stakeholders are engaged in the design and development of projects promoted by the World Class Stratford initiative.
- Debate significant issues, as perceived by the local community, which relate directly to the projects included in the World Class Stratford initiative and provide observations on the ideas
- Advise the Strategy Group on communication of and consultation on the proposals
- Provide feedback on all aspects of proposals, including economic, environmental and related practical matters, with a view to minimising potential adverse effects on local residents and the business community.
- Act as an ambassador in the process of change by ensuring that the Forum’s activities and responsibilities are widely known to residents and businesses
